Known for his role in Vampire Diaries, Ian Somerhalder is also an animal lover. He not only owns dogs but also cats and horses with his girlfriend, Nikki Reed. In his spare time, he was able to create the Ian Somerhalder Foundation. The foundation aims to benefit the environment, end animal testing, fund animal shelters with no-kill policies and put a stop to animal cruelty.

Ellen switched to a vegan lifestyle in 2009 when she realized the horrors of the animal agriculture and animal testing industries.
